Abstract

The paper addresses the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence in pre-service teacher education. Based on UNESCO and European Commission guidance and peer-reviewed research, it proposes a learning module integrating fact-checking, analysis of teaching scenarios, privacy protection, and transparent disclosure of AI assistance. Assessment criteria prioritize independent reasoning, source verification, and reflection rather than a blanket ban on digital tools. The module is offered as a pedagogical design for future testing, not as an experimentally validated intervention.
