This policy explains what data Academia Publishing Hub receives through the website, why it is needed, and how you can manage it.
Data we collect
Through the paper submission form, we may receive your full name, email, phone number, institution, ORCID, information about co-authors and the material, a note, and the manuscript file. The contact form collects your name, email, and message; newsletter subscription collects your email. The server may also automatically process the IP address, browser type, and request time for website security and stability.
How data is used
We use the data to receive and review materials, communicate with authors, organize event participation, prepare publications, respond to enquiries, and send updates to users who have separately subscribed.
Consent, retention, and protection
By sending a form and selecting the consent box, you authorize the processing of the submitted data for the stated purposes. Data is retained only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, submission, or publication and to meet mandatory requirements. Only authorized users of the website administration area can access submissions and manuscripts.
Who may access data
We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party advertising. Where necessary, data may be processed by hosting and email providers and authorized participants in the editorial process. Technical providers may store data on servers outside Ukraine under their own data protection terms. In other cases, information is shared only with your consent or when required by law.
Your rights
You may request information about your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent to further processing. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email. If some data must be retained to meet legal obligations, we will explain this in our response.
Cookies
The website may use technical cookies required for operation, form protection, and administrator login. The theme does not use advertising cookies. If analytics or other third-party services are introduced, this policy will be updated.
