Abstract

This paper examines the relevance of introducing supervision in the public sector as a modern tool for professional development, improving the effectiveness of public servants, preventing professional burnout, safeguarding mental health and ensuring the appropriate quality of management decisions. The main benefits of supervision for employees of state institutions, local government bodies and society as a whole are identified. The essence of supervision, its main functions and benefits for the functioning of the public administration system in the context of transformational changes, digitalisation and military challenges are defined.
